Builders Hub

This hub is about the people who build and run courses in Obby Builder, not a character roster. There are no starter heroes and no team synergies. Progress shows up as badges, likes, leaderboard climbs, and whether a slot reaches Trending or Highlighted. If you wanted a unit list, open the parts ranks instead. This page is for the people who publish slots.

Obby Builder Studio’s group (49396608) had about 126,717 members when this was written, and the experience has passed twenty million visits on 10-player R6 servers with online co-op. Plots compete for the same like button. Builders who break out treat likes as a design problem: fair checkpoints, a readable thumbnail, a slot code people can paste, and a finish that awards Beat an Obby. Child pages split the work into badges and likes.

What this hub tracks

Badges are account trophies. Four are live: Welcome on first join, Completed the Tutorial, Beat an Obby, and Got a Like. Welcome is nearly automatic. Tutorial sits around a 29 percent win rate. Beat an Obby is about 40 percent. Got a Like is the prestige one at about 8.4 percent. Likes, leaderboards, Trending, and Highlighted are discovery. Trending is what the server is playing. Highlighted is curator-picked and sits beside Trending.

Badges versus likes

A badge can be solo. You can join, finish the tutorial, and beat someone else’s course without anyone loading your slot. A like cannot. Someone else has to play your work and vote. Use badges as a first-session checklist. Use likes as a publishing checklist: slot code, custom thumbnail, Unlisted off unless you are drafting, Restore Data before you wipe anything.

Joining the Obby Builder Studio group is the social half of the same loop. The live description advertises bonus rewards for members. It will not replace a fair course. Share slot codes there only when the plot is finishable.

Habits that get a plot noticed

Playtest in the same 10-player server you will publish to. Coils you own are for you; runners will not have Fusion Coil. Place S-tier parts first, then one hook. Write a one-line sign at spawn. Export a thumbnail that shows the actual course. Then follow get featured before you spend 597 Robux on all three size passes.

When a plot disappears, use Restore Data in the Slots UI before you rebuild from memory. See restore data. Builders who keep backups keep likes. Keep co-op drafts Unlisted until a friend can finish. Noticed plots are short, fair, and easy to load — not merely tall.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Obby Builder questions.

Is this a character or roster page?

No. This hub covers badges, likes, leaderboards, and discovery, not a hero roster.

Which builder stat should I chase first?

Finish the tutorial and Beat an Obby, then chase the first like. Got a Like is about 8.4 percent.

Do likes and Highlighted use the same rules?

No. Likes are player votes. Highlighted is curator-picked. Both need a finishable course.

Where do I share a slot without looking spammy?

Share finishable plots in the Obby Builder Studio group. Keep drafts Unlisted.

What if my plot does not get noticed?

Shorten the route, add checkpoints, fix the thumbnail, and follow get featured before you buy more plot size.
