Obby Builder Plot Size Planner

Pick one axis — Taller, Longer, or Wider — after cash fills the current footprint.

Plot Size Planner

This planner is a checklist, not a calculator app. Obby Builder sells three permanent size passes at 199 Robux each: Taller Obby (height), Longer Obby (length), Wider Obby (width). Cash from playing also unlocks bigger builds. Buy an axis only when you can name the course that needs it. If you cannot, farm cash first using earn cash.

Stacking all three passes is 597 Robux. That stack is real power for a featured layout and a terrible first cart. Rainbow Parts (99), coils (79–149), and Double Cash (299) do not add studs. They are separate decisions on the gamepass ranks.

Decide with a finishable footprint

Before Robux, your plot must already have a spawn, a fair first jump, a checkpoint, and a finish. Run the build checklist. If runners bounce at jump two, extra height will not save them. Expand a course people complete, not a sketch.

Cash unlocks are slower. Use them while you iterate. Copy a slot code after every unlock so Restore Data can recover the paid-for space if a session crashes. Online co-op does not change the math: two builders still need one finishable line. Read co-op so nobody spends Robux on a plot the other person is about to overwrite.

Pick one axis

Choose Taller Obby if the course is a tower, dropper, or stacked checkpoint climb. Height lets you add rest floors without folding the route. Choose Longer Obby if the course is a hallway, conveyor, or timed gauntlet that wants more rest pads in a line. Choose Wider Obby only after you already own height or length and you need a second path or a difficulty split.

Do not pick Wider first. A wide empty pad with scattered killbricks is the usual result. Do not pick Taller and Longer on the same day unless the current footprint is full and you have likes coming in. One axis per week is enough.

Play Highlighted and Trending examples. If the courses you like are towers, buy Taller. If they are long parkour lines, buy Longer. Steal spacing, not the pass they might own. Discovery notes sit on Highlighted Obbies.

After you buy

Place checkpoints in the new space before gadgets. A tall shaft with one spinner and no rest is a refund request you cannot file. Lighting and one-way movers go on after the new floors exist; see lighting, movers, and emotes. Recopy the slot code. Playtest without coils, then with Fusion Coil if you have it.

If the extra space feels empty, you bought too early. Fill it with platforms and checkpoints, not Rainbow Parts. If a co-op partner deletes the new floors, Restore Data immediately. Do not repurchase the pass. Size passes are permanent on the account; the plot still needs a save.

Cash versus Robux, written down

Use cash when: you still have unused footprint, you have not finished the tutorial, nobody has beaten your slot, or you cannot name the axis. Use Robux when: the footprint is full of fair jumps, a friend has finished the course, and you know whether you need height, length, or width. Double Cash helps long farm sessions. It does not add studs. Fusion Coil helps you playtest the new axis. It does not add studs.

Group bonus rewards are unpublished. Do not plan plot size around an unknown gift. Join the group for whatever the live UI grants, then come back to this list.

Planner checklist

  1. Finishable spawn, jump, checkpoint, finish on the current footprint.
  2. Slot code copied.
  3. One friend or random finish.
  4. Name the axis: tower → Taller, hallway → Longer, second path → Wider (only if an axis is already owned).
  5. Buy one pass.
  6. Place checkpoints in the new space.
  7. Playtest, recopy the slot code, then gadgets.
  8. Only then consider a second axis or Double Cash.

If you skip a line, skip the purchase. Plot size is a multiplier on a course, not a course.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Obby Builder questions.

Which size pass should I buy first?

Taller Obby for towers, Longer Obby for hallways. Not both. Rankings are on gamepasses.

Can cash replace Taller, Longer, and Wider?

Cash unlocks bigger builds more slowly. Use it until the current footprint is full, then buy one axis. Farm tips are on earn cash.

Is Wider Obby a good first pass?

Usually no. Buy it after height or length when you need a second path.

What if I buy a pass and the plot reverts?

The pass stays on the account. Restore the plot with Restore Data and a written slot code. Do not buy the pass twice.

Should I stack all three size passes?

Only after a course is already liked and finishable. 597 Robux of empty air will not get you Highlighted. See Highlighted Obbies.
