Obby Builder sells eight live gamepasses. This page ranks them for a builder who already has a spawn, platforms, and a checkpoint. Robux does not fix a plot nobody can finish. S tier: pick one plot-size pass
S is Taller Obby or Longer Obby, never both on day one. Choose by course style. A tower, dropper, or vertical line wants Taller Obby so you can stack checkpoints upward. A hallway gauntlet or long conveyor path wants Longer Obby so you can add rest platforms without folding the route back on itself. Both passes last forever and change what you can place, which is why they sit above coils and cosmetics.
Do not buy all three size passes because the shop shows them in a row. Wider Obby is the third axis and belongs in A once you already have height or length. A square arena of parallel routes or a split-path difficulty select is when width pays for itself. Until then, extra width is empty floor that servers walk across without liking anything.
A tier: Fusion Coil and Wider
Fusion Coil is the playtest pass. It stacks speed and jump so you can run your own layout, find unfair gaps, and fix them before you share a slot code. That is a builder tool, not a win button for other people’s courses. If you playtest more than you farm, Fusion Coil outranks Double Cash. If you are about to buy a script that changes walk speed, stop: owned coils are the legal replacement, and script safety explains why executors are a bad trade for a builder account.
Wider Obby is A only after Taller or Longer is already owned. Use it when your route needs side paths or a second difficulty next to the main line. Buying width first usually produces a flat pad with scattered killbricks. Size should follow a course that already has a finish. If you want that finish discovered, pair any size pass with get featured instead of assuming a bigger plot auto-trends.
B and C: cash, extra coils, cosmetics
B is Double Cash if you play long sessions, and Speed Coil if you will not buy Fusion. Double Cash doubles passive cash and raises the cap, which matters when you are filling a tall or long plot. It is a weak buy if you hop in for twenty minutes and leave. Speed Coil at 79 Robux is the budget playtest option. Skip it if Fusion Coil is already in the cart.
C is Gravity Coil and Rainbow Parts. Gravity Coil is the least useful of the three coils for most routing, and Fusion already covers a jump bump. Rainbow Parts is a 99 Robux color pass. It is fun, it is not power, and it will not earn Got a Like by itself. Recolor after the course is finishable.
What not to stack on day one
Confirm a friend can load your slot and finish. Buy Taller or Longer, not both. Place more checkpoints with the extra space. Buy Fusion Coil when playtesting the new size is slow on foot. Add Wider only when you have a second route. Add Double Cash only for long build sessions. Leave Gravity Coil and Rainbow Parts for leftover Robux. Online co-op does not change this order: two builders still need a finishable line more than a 597 Robux box.
